Why did you choose this fieldwork?
An inpatient sub-acute rehab that offers a fast pace environment and an environment that promotes learning. Many opportunities were provided after hours to enhance learning beyond the fieldwork experience. The staff was helpful and challenging. The facility has three different floors to be assigned to: stroke/sci, orthopedic, and brain injury. I was place on the stroke/sci floor. I loved it. My supervisor was demanding and expected a lot, but I contribute so much to her for making me the OT I am today. I was able to observe on the other floors and work with multiple OT's and PT's.

What are your thoughts on the site's environment for the employees and students? (Please consider: organization, collaboration, mentoring, learning opportunities)
Very organized (still have my fieldwork binder for reference), friendly and supportive staff, worked with a PT student as well.
Please comment on personality traits and/or preparation that would facilitate success at this site.
Need to be dedicated, I did not work while at this fieldwork, be able to put in extra time, quick learner, and adaptable. Suggest it to be the second placement, may make it a little less stressful.
